On Tuesday March 8th, in celebration of International Women’s Day, Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group (QHVSG) hosted the breakfast event Dining with Daisies.
The theme of the breakfast was a pledge for parity and was held in celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. A big thank you to all who came along and made the morning a memorable and momentous occasion!
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to our amazing guest speakers Sonia Anderson, Sherrie Meyer and Martha Jabour who so generously shared their personal stories and journeys in triumphing over tragedy.
Our thanks also to Queensland Police Commissioner Ian Stewart APM for your ongoing and invaluable support.
Special thanks to Monique Ferrario and Tina Good for all your hard work and dedication in putting together such a wonderful event!
Appreciation and thanks also to Leanne and Gary Pullen, Zayla Galante, Julie Hand, Kerry Oestreich, Fiona Robinsen, Leaha Collins, Julie Waters and Gai Ferrario for your support and help on the day.
