In 2024, the Queensland Homicide Victims’ Support Group proudly commenced its inaugural ‘Cuppa For Care’ awareness initiative – Which is annually held on the anniversary of QHVSG’s foundation day, the 7th of February.  This initiative promotes individuals and organisations alike to host their own event to provide an opportunity for: Peer support to those who have lost a loved one to homicide by simply sharing a ‘cuppa’ together, to demonstrate support by honouring those lost to homicide, as well as endorsing awareness about QHVSG and the support we provide to victims and fundraising to help grow our services.  Cuppa For Care events are held all throughout Queensland – They can be held in homes, at workplaces, at dedicated fundraising events, or even through a virtual group meeting.
