VICTIMS' RIGHTS
The Charter for Victims’ Rights set out in the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009, describes the treatment victims can expect to receive from Queensland Government agencies, their officers and funded non-government agencies that provide services to victims of crime. You can see the document here. A guide for victims of crime, and their friends and family who may have been directly or indirectly affected by a violent crime is available from the QLD Government website. Visit Know your rights | The Office of the Victims' Commissioner to access this information. We understand that there is so much information to absorb, but please know that you can contact us for advice and support.
